Deep Tissue MassageSports MassageMyofascial ReleaseTrigger Point TherapyCraniosacralSometimes all the body needs to activate the healing process is a light touch by a skilled hand. In a deeply relaxed state, the body is able to self-correct and heal. We know that the body is designed to defend us from disease and assist in healing, as evidenced every time we “fight off” a cold or a cut heals. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle approach that works to alleviate a range of sensory, motor, and neurological disorders. Craniosacral Therapy taps into the cerebrospinal pulse (cranial wave) to locate and release restrictions in body function. Craniosacral therapy addresses head, neck, and back injuries, and stress-related disorders such as: insomnia, fatigue, headaches, poor digestion, anxiety, temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and whiplash. The length of time and number of sessions needed is extremely variable and depends, among other factors, on the complex layers of injury and trauma. Due to its gentleness and effectiveness, many people include craniosacral as a component in their personal wellness programs. They report having more energy, sleeping better and being sick less often. Orthopedic MassagePre and Post-NatalA.R.T.
