Christine Hagin, LMT is a graduate of the Swedish Institute of Allied Health Sciences in New York City. Over the last eight years she has honed her skills in medical-based deep tissue massage working with the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York Sports Clubs and Relax Massage Therapy.
Customizing each session for the client's specific needs, Christine treats clients with a combination of Swedish deep tissue, myofascial and trigger point therapies. She has worked with many clients to alleviate the recurrence of repetitive strain injuries such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder and chronic low back pain. She has also been an integral part in the healing process for clients pre- and post-surgery for hip replacement, knee replacement, mastectomy, any number of sports injuries and many types of back surgeries.
To increase the efficiency of healing, Christine creates individual treatment programs including stretching, self-massage methods and individual awareness of body movement and posture. Whether treating pain or injury that is sports related, a result of long hours in front of a computer or general activities of daily living, Christine is always enthusiastic in helping each client on their path of healing.
